Welcome to KidZone!
Whether you are new to our church family, a short-term visitor, or are just new to parenting, you can be sure that there is a special place for your child in the KidZone here at First Baptist Church of Cedar Springs.
God has placed the parents in the primary role of bringing their kids up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and we will be glad to help you discover how to do that if you have any questions.
We also believe we, the church body, have a biblical mandate to assist you in helping you child know God's love and purpose for their life and all the Children's Ministries within our church fellowship are designed to help in these endeavors. Bring your children, your grandchildren, and your neighbor children to the KidZone and rest assured this is not just babysitting, but involvement in worship, fun, and learning of God, His Word, and the how-to of applying God's Will in their lives.

What are the kidZone ministries?

SUNDAY SCHOOL: This isn't school; this is individualized small and personal classes for all ages, and your child will have a loving teacher who has prepared a lesson that will help them discover the depths of God's Word and how it can help shape their life.
Each Sunday morning from 9:30am - 10:30am, we invite you to attend a class for your appropriate age bracket as your children attend the following classes in the church's lower level:
-2-3 years old, Toddlers Class
-PreK/Kindergarten Class
-1st-3rd Grade Class
-4th-6th Grade Class
-7th-12th Grade Class

TODDLER CHURCH: Held in the lower level toddler room each Sunday morning at 10:45am, kids ages 2-4 find wonderful teachers and helpers who show these precious little ones the love of Jesus with songs, games, crafts, snacks, activities, and lessons.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH: A worship and learning time designed at their level for Kindergarten through 4th grade children. While you worship upstairs, they worship in Lida Tower downstairs, singing, exploring the Word of God, enjoying a small snack and how to serve the Lord.

AWANA: Held throughout the school year for Kindergartners through 6th graders, this tried and true world-wide program has been re-energized as it continues to reward children as they grow in each week's Scripture memory, game-time, and Bible lesson.

NURSERY: Infants and toddlers up to age 3, have a warm, nurturing, supervised environment downstairs with caring workers, toys, snacks, and cribs! Care is provided during each Sunday service so that you can worship without distraction.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Held each summer in mid July, our Vacation Bible School program takes away the mid-summer boredom and replaces it with games, singing, crafts, fun learning times, and lets dozens of kids from PreK through 6th grade make new friends as they explore God and His Word.
